Scottsboro

Scottsboro was a very striking and interesting movie.  All the events that happened through out the movie were very touching and incredibly sad to actually think that people treated their own kind in such a way.  Seeing the way these boys were treated for something they didn't do was awful.  Watching this did change my perspective on "American Pride."  I now understand how unfair people used to be through out the south.  This movie can still be compared to many events that happen today.  My article is a good example of how people are still racist today.  In this article talks about how colored councilman Daron Lee is told by  white councilman John Williams, that he should be working in a cotton field. Having a racist remark told to you straight in your face is not very pleasant so Lee just stormed out.  It turned out to be that Williams' remark was intended to be a joke but it was still taken seriously.  I believe that everyone should stop ad watch what they say to someone before they get themselves in problems.
