Learning the Hard Way

One day, when I was around that age of 9, I got myself in a lot of trouble.  I thought that lying was the only way to get out of trouble but it turned out to be that it brought even more trouble.  Lying to my mom about a grade was very wrong.  Even though I got off with no problem I knew my mom was bound to find out.  As I came home from school the next day my nerves were all over the place, and then I got the "look."  From that day I never told another big lie again. "A lie may take care of the present, but it has not future."
