Learning the Hard Way
One day, when I was around that age of 9, I got myself in a lot of trouble. I thought that lying was the only way to get out of trouble but it turned out to be that it brought even more trouble. Lying to my mom about a grade was very wrong. Even though I got off with no problem I knew my mom was bound to find out. As I came home from school the next day my nerves were all over the place, and then I got the "look." From that day I never told another big lie again. "A lie may take care of the present, but it has not future."

Scottsboro
Scottsboro was a very striking and interesting movie. All the events that happened through out the movie were very touching and incredibly sad to actually think that people treated their own kind in such a way. Seeing the way these boys were treated for something they didn't do was awful. Watching this did change my perspective on "American Pride." I now understand how unfair people used to be through out the south. This movie can still be compared to many events that happen today. My article is a good example of how people are still racist today. In this article talks about how colored councilman Daron Lee is told by white councilman John Williams, that he should be working in a cotton field. Having a racist remark told to you straight in your face is not very pleasant so Lee just stormed out. It turned out to be that Williams' remark was intended to be a joke but it was still taken seriously. I believe that everyone should stop ad watch what they say to someone before they get themselves in problems.

it wasn't me
Being blamed for something I did not do is not a good feeling. One day I was accused by an old friend that I started a rumor about her when I absolutely did not. It was very frustrating knowing that someone who used to be so close to me would accuse me for something so serious. Later on I sent the girl a message about what really happened so she can understand that I did not spread the rumor and in a few hours we were friends again. She owed me an apology and everything was back to normal.

2O!!
As 2011 begins, I have came up with few resolutions for myself. As for my New Year's resolution, I've decided to choose something that will help me in and out of school. Sleeping early is very important to me, even though it never happens. My goal is to be able to go to bed two hours earlier then what I am used to now. Even though I am allowed to go to bed at a late time I rather turn out the lights and avoid my mom's not so aloud voice the next morning. Going to bed earlier brings many great things along with it like being to stay awake in school which then helps me get good grades. Doing well in school is the most important priority my brother and I have. If we're not in a good position with our studies there will be problems. Another place where I can benefit from turning in early is at the gym. One very important piece of advice that anyone can give you about going to the gym is to get enough sleep because if you don't problems can be caused. Even though there will always be someone advising you, it is still very important.
